Coventry to Brighton Fun Run

Saturday April 4th return Sunday 5th.

On Friday evening 3rd, we hold our traditional Fish and Chip supper get together with friends old and new, meeting at the Windmill Hotel Coventry in anticipation of the 55th Coventry to Brighton Fun Run the following morning.

Riders set off from the Coventry Motor Museum, Millennium Place, Hale Street, Coventry where signing on takes place and where route Maps and Rider Numbers are available anytime from 07:00.

Riders are flagged away by the Lord Mayor of Coventry - from 08:00.

Our first optional stop for a warming cup of Coffee is at Deddington about 30 miles from the start.

There’s also an optional lunch stop at The Waggon and Horses Pub in Twyford and finally an opportunity for tea and biscuits and a leg stretch at Newlands Corner Café before starting the final approach into Brighton, where we will be met by the Mayor of Brighton and Hove around 16:00.

New for this year, we will all stay at the 4* Princess Marine Hotel adjacent to the sea front.
The hotel provides ultra secure overnight parking and en-suite facilities in all rooms.

Following our celebration dinner and presentations at the Hotel, riders and guests may decide
to explore the many drinking establishments of Brighton, or even go for a midnight dip!

After breakfast on Sunday you may wish to make your own way home or explore
Brighton and Hove in the bright warm summer sunshine that will be provided!!

The total cost of the weekend is £100 for VMCC members and £80 for non riding guests.

Non VMCC members wishing to join in the fun are most welcome but pay a £10 surcharge.

Riders that do not require Dinner or Accommodation pay only a £25 signing on fee.
